Houston Stone Cleaners & Sealers: Professional, Experienced, Local.

Houston Stone Sealers is a local, professional stone cleaning and sealing company providing a variety of natural stone restoration, stone cleaning, and stone sealing services in Houston, Texas. Our team of friendly, local, reliable stone cleaning professionals has over a decade of experience providing stone maintenance services in the Gulf Coast region. Some of the most common service requests we receive are for sealing and cleaning stone patios, pool coping and decks, granite and marble countertops, brick steps and home exteriors, even outdoor kitchens constructed of stone.

Houston Stone Sealers also provides pressure washing services for driveways, exterior home mold and dirt, indoor tile cleaning and sealing, grout cleaning and sealing, and much more. Call us for a free estimate or request service online now using the form on the right.

Before we seal any surface, we have to ensure that it is professionally cleaned so that the sealant meets the level of protection our customers anticipate. If stains, mold, mildew, debris, or calcification are not removed before TSSPRO Sealant is applied, the staining and water damage could potentially worsen. The sealant may also begin to fail much earlier than anticipate, because it will not cure to the surface properly if debris, dirt, or calcium buildup is present.

Houston Stone Sealers offers a variety of sealants for stone, brick, concrete, tile, and grout including. Our experienced stone care team will let you know which options are right for the surface you want to seal, and recommend varying price level options when possible.
Answers to Houston Stone Sealing, Restoration, and Cleaning Questions
Q. How Can I Get a Quote for Stone Sealing Services?
A. Get in touch with us here on our website or call us at (713) 429-0469 to request a free, customized sealing quote over the phone. Any pictures, descriptions of the area, and general condition of the stone deck, tile, or pillars is helpful in determining an accurate estimate. For example if you want us to seal flagstone around your pool, send us a couple pictures from your phone along with the dimensions (height/width of the tiles), approximate square footage, etc.

Q. How is Pricing for Sealant Application Quotes Calculated?

A. Each sealing quote is based on the linear footage of the stone, the type of sealant that will be used, how many coats of sealant it will need, and its condition. These factors may increase or decrease the price because the natural stone, concrete, or tile must get a professional cleaning before sealant is applied (unless the surface is new and/or clean).

Q. When is the Best Time of Year to Seal Stone in Houston’s Hot, Humid Climate?

A. There is no magic season that is best for all type of sealant applications. Porous natural stone like limestone, moss rock, Austin stone, and sandstone are very vulnerable to moisture penetration. It is best to apply sealant when there is absolutely no moisture residue present. This means not applying sealant just after a hard rain. It should be allowed to dry out completely for at least 24 hours, longer if you can.

Also, most sealants cannot cure in extremely hot or cold temperatures (i.e. above 90 degrees or below 40 degrees).  With that in mind, many of our outdoor summertime applications (sealing pool decks, stone patios, and pavers) must be performed in the morning or evening, although there are exceptions.

Q. What Type of Stone Does Your Company Provide Sealing & Cleaning Services For?

We’d be happy to help you if we can, and if we cannot there’s a good chance we can recommend someone who can.
