PROJECT 1.

MOLD & MILDEW STAINED LIMESTONE POOL DECK BEFORE & AFTER CLEANING & SEALING

The photos above say it all. Before the limestone deck and coping surrounding the pool could be sealed, the mildew and mold stains had to be carefully removed by our professional cleaners. Once the stone was cleaned, we added a coat of TSS PRO Sealant to help protect it year-round from water damage, prevent future mold growth, and protect the stone from the chlorine and other pool chemicals.

The fresh coat of stone sealant should protect and enhance the limestone for up to four years in most cases. The type of cleaning your stone requires depends on where the stone is located, what type it is, and what it is exposed to. If the stone is exposed to harsh pool chemicals, like the one above, we recommend using a high-performance sealant like TSS-PRO 200.

PROJECT 2.

STONE COURTYARD PATIO & FIRE PIT BEFORE & AFTER PROFESSIONAL CLEANING

When we walked into this stone courtyard, it made us very sad. We could imagine how beautiful the entire space would become once the soot, mildew stains, and living mold were no longer hiding the stone color and pattern. We had to go over the stones carefully a few times, but the elbow grease was worth it in the end. If it wasn’t for the signature fire pit in the middle of the patio, you wouldn’t even think these two images were of the same patio.

Once the homeowners saw the true beauty of the stone in its natural state, they really wanted to use a sealant that would not change or hide the natural characteristics of the stone coloring and striations. After some back and forth, they decided to go with the TSS-PRO 100 Natural Look sealant instead of the TSS-PRO Low Sheen WetLook sealant. We think they made an excellent choice; the natural look of the stone meshes well with the surrounding native shrubbery and flora.

PROJECT 3.

LIMESTONE BRICK LANDSCAPING WALL BEFORE & AFTER CLEANING, SEALING

Normally when people contact us to seal brick, they want us to power wash traditional red brick stairs, walls, or patios. This homeowner had an interesting problem with the limestone retaining wall supporting the landscaping in their front yard. Before we could apply a sealant suitable for limestone, we had to remove all of the green mold growing on the bricks.

The homeowners have a sprinkler system, so the limestone bricks are constantly exposed to moisture from both watering and water seeping through the soil to the internal side of the brick. We applied a generous coat of TSS-PRO 200 High Performance sealant, ideal for porous natural stone like limestone. The sealant allows the limestone to breathe while prohibiting mold growth and water penetration. Did you notice the clean stone facade on the home? We did that too!

PROJECT 4.

FLAGSTONE PATIO AND FOUNTAIN BEFORE & AFTER PHOTOS

This stained flagstone patio had been neglected for a long time when we were called to restore it to its former glory. Some of the stains were particularly stubborn, but our team of professional stone cleaners was able to get most of the stains out using a combination of pressure washing, soda blasting (provided at an additional cost), and a couple of secret tricks we’re not going to tell you. Once the stone was cleaned, it was absolutely stunning.

We chose to use the TSS-PRO-100 Natural sealer for flagstone and other stones that don’t need a lot of enhancement. The TSS-PRO 100 gives the natural stone a layer of protection against the elements and prevents water and mold from penetrating the stone’s surface. Just look at those natural green-gray, brown-rust, and smoky grey colors. That is a beautiful patio restoration.

PROJECT 5.

CONCRETE PAVER PATIO BEFORE & AFTER PICTURES

The patio in the before and after photos above is made of concrete pavers. Concrete pavers give the patio a custom, cottage charm, but as you can see in the photos on the left, they can be susceptible to mold and mildew growth just like natural stone. Our team thoroughly washed and cleaned the paver stone patio, removing mildew and stains from the pavers.

Once the area was dry and clean, we applied a coat of TSS-PRO sealant perfect for protecting pavers and concrete from water penetration, mold, and staining. Now, these homeowners can enjoy the polished look of their paver stone patio for years to come.

PROJECT 6.

BEFORE & AFTER PICTURES OF A MASTIC EXPANSION JOINT REPAIR SURROUNDING A POOL COPING

The homeowners were not happy with the way the joints surrounding their pool coping had expanded and lost filling. The gaps were unsightly and were scratching people’s feet as they walked around the pool. Our team came to the rescue to repair the mastic expansion joint around their pool coping. First, we removed all of the dirt and debris that had accumulated in the large gap and allowed it to dry.

Once the gap was dry, we applied our quick curing mastic expansion compound, providing a uniform seal that matches the color of the stone and surrounding concrete patio. As the temperatures and humidity change throughout the year, the expansion compound will expand and retract when needed.

PROJECT 7.

FLAGSTONE PATIO AND FIRE PIT BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES

When the homeowners of this patio and fire pit moved in, they loved the color and brightness of the stone. However, time passed, and the stone lost its color. They called us to brighten and seal the stone so the area could be more lively. Our team of professional and skilled Texas Stone Sealers made quick work of the stone.

The team first cleaned up the stone and then applied TSSPRO 500. This stone sealer is great at keeping water from penetrating the stone and enriching the color. With our stone sealers, the family was able to enjoy their patio and fire pit again. The lively stone matched the lively party.

PROJECT 8.

POOL COPING AND PATIO BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES

The patio around this pool was once bright and full of life. When our team of sealers came in, we were upset to see it had lost all of its life. The family of the house hosts pool parties frequently in the summer and wanted their stone to look the way it did the day they moved in. We were excited to rejuvenate the stone back to its previous glory.

TSSPRO 700 CS Surface Sealer is the best option when it comes to a pool-side patio. Constant or frequent contact with water will promote mold, fungi, and algae. This sealer prevents the growth of these unwanted features. It is also waterproof and saltwater proof for those with saltwater pools. This family was quickly able to enjoy their pool parties and the look of their stone.

PROJECT 9.

The entryway of a home is important. It should impress your guests as soon as the approach. The look of stone can significantly affect how they are impacted when approaching your home. This patio had lost its life, and the sone was lacking in color. Our team of sealers understands the importance of stone and the way it should look.

PROJECT 10.

PATIO AND FIRE PIT FLAGSTONE BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES

This space has an excellent look. The family would gather friends and family members for parties of all occasions. Unfortunately, the stone lost its color from constant exposure to the weather. Rain can impact stone significantly over time. That is why it is essential stone is sealed to keep water from penetrating.

Texas Stone Sealers was happy to seal the stone of this lovely space. Sealing it keeps water from entering the stone, which makes it last longer and look better. Plus, the stone is stainproof, so no party is a match for our sealant. The family was happy to have a stone patio that matched the festiveness of their parties.
